HI, I’M CELIA M.
The person behind Recoloco.
“I’m not naturally tidy, but I love to organize.” That curious paradox is what led me to discover my passion for transforming and optimizing spaces.
As an interior designer, personal coach, and DIY enthusiast, I created Recoloco to help turn houses into functional, welcoming homes. I work closely and personally with each client, adapting to their needs, tastes, and lifestyle—with a hands-on, practical approach.
What I do in Luxembourg
Five years ago, I came to Luxembourg without a clear plan (beyond love), unsure how long I’d stay. Truthfully, I didn’t really know what I wanted to do with my life—let’s just say I was in full-on low-mood mode.
I tried the stable job, the fixed income, the so-called “less complicated” life. But somehow, I always ended up back at what I had started doing in Spain: transforming and optimizing spaces, thinking with my hands, and helping everything find its rightful place. How do you turn that into a job title? Honestly, not easy.
I’m not going to claim I’m chasing some big dream. It’s more like something that comes from within. And when someone tells me how good they feel in their space after working with Recoloco, well—suddenly, the complications don’t seem to matter so much.
Why is Recoloco so important to me?
Because it’s the space where I finally get to combine so many of the things that make me feel alive. For years, I searched for jobs where I could be myself, where someone truly wanted to see what I had to offer. But I often felt boxed in, invisible, bored out of my mind—and guilty for not appreciating what I had.
Over time, I realized I’m someone who thinks with her hands. Most of my ideas come while working on site. Sitting in front of a computer? That’s the real struggle. And while I still don’t have the full “how” figured out, I’ve been lucky enough to discover my “why.”
Recoloco was born from the need to reconnect—with myself and with others. To bring out what I carry inside: truly listening to people, understanding their tastes, quirks, worries… and from there, creating spaces that make life easier, more beautiful, more them. I love building that trust with clients and turning it into homes that make sense.
It also challenges me creatively: imagining solutions—technical, practical, or aesthetic—building them on the fly, getting my hands dirty. Assembling furniture, organizing storage rooms, hanging pictures, drill in hand… toolbox always ready. Those are the moments where I completely lose track of time. After many twists and turns, here I am. Using Recoloco as a way to contribute, create, and connect.
